McCool Junction had won four straight road games and Carson Mcdonald did his part to make it five on Friday. Everything went the McCool Junction Mustangs' way against the Nebraska Lutheran Knights as the McCool Junction Mustangs made off with a 64-38 win thanks in part to Mcdonald, who went 9 of 14 on his way to 22 points along with seven rebounds and three steals. Thanks to that strong game, he now owns an excellent 45.6% shooting accuracy.

The team also got some help courtesy of Jaxon Mcdonald, who posted eight points. He continues to improve, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played.

Defeat or not, Nebraska Lutheran got some senior leadership from Dylan Hoehler and Lukas Worster. Hoehler went 5 for 7 to rack up 12 points, while Worster scored 14 points. Worster is also on a roll when it comes to three-point shooting accuracy, as he's posted one of at least 40% in the last three games he's played.

McCool Junction is on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 11 games, which provided a nice bump to their 16-4 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 63.6 points over those games. As for Nebraska Lutheran, their loss dropped their record down to 7-10.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. McCool Junction will take on Exeter-Milligan/Friend on Tuesday. As for Nebraska Lutheran, they will square off against Riverside at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.
