Baseball Recap: Lehighton Comes Up Short

Lehighton was the 8-1 winner over Saucon Valley when they last played one another back in April of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Indians fell just short of the Panthers by a score of 2-1 on Tuesday. The Indians have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Lehighton saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Cole Dietz, who went 2-for-3 with one RBI.

Lehighton's record now sits at 9-4. As for Saucon Valley, their win bumped their record up to 10-2.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Lehighton is set to face off against their familiar foe Northwestern Lehigh at 4:15 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Saucon Valley will challenge rival Northern Lehigh at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
