Softball Recap: Putnam Continues Home Dominance on Friday

It may have taken eight innings to finish the job, but Putnam ultimately got the result they hoped for on Friday. They came out on top against the Milwaukie/Milwaukie Academy of the Arts Mustangs by a score of 7-4. The Kingsmen haven't had any issues with the Mustangs recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive victory against them.

Putnam's win was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 11-14. Those home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.2 runs over those games. As for Milwaukie/Milwaukie Academy of the Arts, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-19.

As of now, neither Putnam nor the Mustangs have any future games scheduled.
