Baseball Recap: Otis Bulldogs vs. Akron Rams        
        
		
            
 Otis had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They walked away with  an   8-5  win over the Akron Rams  on Friday. Winning may never get old, but Otis sure is getting used to it with their fifth in a row.
 The team  relied heavily on  Tayte Smith, who  scored a  run and  stole a base while going 1-for-3. He has been hot recently, having posted  at least one  stolen base the last four times he's  played. Another player making a difference was  Carter Wells, who  scored a  run while going 2-for-4.
 On Akron's side,  Brock Swedlund made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and  scored two  runs and  stole a base while going 3-for-4. The team also got some help courtesy of  Caleb Poss, who  went 1-for-4 with a  stolen base and two  RBI.
 Otis is  on a roll lately: they've  won six of their last seven matches,  which provided a nice bump to their 14-4 record  this season. As for Akron, their loss dropped their record down to 14-5.
 As of now, neither Otis nor Akron have any future games scheduled.
