Jefferson County gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Friday. They took their game with ease, bagging a 41-0 victory over the Cocke County Fighting Cocks. The Patriots haven't had any issues with the Fighting Cocks recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive win against them.

Donovan Jackson had an outrageously good game as he rushed for 145 yards and a pair of scores on only seven carries, and also picked up 33 receiving yards.

Jefferson County didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 41-7 defeat against Sevier County on the 29th. As for Cocke County, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next match, a 23-12 loss against Gatlinburg-Pittman on the 28th.
