Softball Recap: Yankton Takes a Loss

Yankton lost against Tea back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Bucks/Gazelles came up short against the Titans, falling 7-1.

Yankton saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jocelyn Behrns, who went 2-for-4 with one run and one double.

Yankton dropped their record down to 7-15 with the defeat, which was their fifth straight on the road. As for Tea, their win bumped their record up to 5-9.

Looking ahead, Yankton will take on Harrisburg at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Tea, they will be playing at home against Aberdeen Central at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Golden Eagles have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 10.81 runs per game on average), something the Titans will no doubt try to take advantage of.
