Basketball Recap: Covington Snags Fifth Victory in Last Six Games

On Saturday, the Covington Chargers didn't have too much breathing room in their contest against the Power Center Academy Knights, but they still walked away with a 60-56 win.

Covington has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matchups. That's provided a massive bump to their 15-10 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 60.3 points over those games. Power Center Academy's loss dropped their record down to 15-8.

Coming up, Covington will challenge Kirby on Tuesday. One thing working in Kirby's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last 27 games. Power Center Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
