Basketball Recap: New Castle's Win on Tuesday Extends Winning Streak to Two

Seneca Valley came into Tuesday's match looking for another win against New Castle, but Damian Harrison wouldn't allow it. The New Castle Hurricanes strolled past the Seneca Valley Raiders with points to spare on Tuesday, taking the game 70-56 thanks in part to Harrison, who dropped a double-double on 26 points and 12 rebounds. Those 26 points gave him a new career-high.

The team also got some help courtesy of Qualin Davis, who posted six points. He also put up a block, which washis first of the season.

The win made it two in a row for New Castle and bumps their season record up to 14-3. As for Seneca Valley, their defeat ended a five-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 10-9.

New Castle will take on Pine-Richland at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. New Castle is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 63.1 points per game this season. Seneca Valley has already played their next game (against Butler), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
