Swansboro is 9-1 against Havelock since December of 2020 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. The Pirates will take on the Rams at 5:30 p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Swansboro is probably headed into the matchup with a chip on their shoulder considering West Carteret just ended the team's nine-match winning streak last Tuesday. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Patriots.

The match finished with set scores of 25-15, 18-25, 25-15, 25-17.

Meanwhile, Havelock lost 3-0 to Dixon on Tuesday.

The final score came out to 25-14, 25-10, 25-13.

Havelock's defeat dropped their record down to 0-16. As for Swansboro, the loss was their first on the road , dropping their record down to 15-2.

Swansboro took their victory against Havelock when the teams last played back in September by a conclusive 3-0 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Pirates since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
