Rochelle came into Thursday's match having lost three straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the team sidled past the Ottawa Pirates 2-1. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Hubs have posted against the Pirates since October 19, 2023.

Rochelle had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next two. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 19-25, 25-18, 25-19.

Rochelle's victory bumped their record up to 15-19. As for Ottawa, their loss was their eighth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 9-22-2.
