Softball Game Preview: Dover Eagles vs. Donegal Indians

The Dover Eagles will face off against the Donegal Indians at 4:15 p.m. on Friday. The two teams are strolling into their contests after big wins in their previous games.

Fans were treated to a battle of the Eagles on Wednesday. Dover was the clear victors by a 9-2 margin over Bermudian Springs.

Meanwhile, Donegal made easy work of Susquehannock on Wednesday and carried off a 7-1 victory.

Madison Coble and Ruth Myers did most of the damage at the plate: Coble scored two runs while going 1-for-3, while Myers went 1-for-3 with three RBI and one double. The team also got some help courtesy of Adoree Gardner, who scored two runs while going 2-for-2.

Donegal's win was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 1-1. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 12.2 runs. As for Dover, their victory bumped their record up to 2-0.
