Gavin Van Ness gave up the fewest walks he has since back in April on Monday. He turned in nothing short of a gem, striking out seven batters over three innings while giving up no earned runs off three hits. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't tossed less than six strikeouts in three consecutive appearances.

Coming up, Van Ness and Beecher will take on Momence at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Bobcats are 8-2 against the Momence Athletics going back to May of 2022, a lead they'll look to extend.
