Soccer Recap: Paraclete Comes Up Short

After soaring to four goals the game before, Paraclete was a bit more limited in their contest on Monday. They fell 2-0 to the St. Paul Swordsmen. The Spirits were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Swordsmen apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in January of 2024.

This is the second loss in a row for Paraclete and nudges their season record down to 1-3. As for St. Paul, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 6-7-1.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Paraclete will host St. Anthony at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for St. Paul, they will be playing in front of their home fans against St. Genevieve at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. St. Paul is facing St. Genevieve at the right time seeing as St. Genevieve is stuck on a six-game losing streak.
