Basketball Recap: Scarborough Comes Up Short

After flying high against Massabesic last Friday, Scarborough came back down to earth. The Scarborough Red Storm took a 50-46 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Gorham Rams. The Red Storm were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Rams earlier this season, when they won 63-57.

Scarborough's defeat dropped their record down to 7-7. As for Gorham, their victory bumped their record up to 5-11.

Scarborough will take on Cheverus at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Cheverus has been dominant on offense recently, having racked up an incredible 215 points over their last three contests. As for Gorham, they will square off against Thornton Academy at 7:45 p.m. on Tuesday. Thornton Academy will roll in looking for their seventh straight win, something Gorham surely won't give up without a fight.
