Valor Christian and Eaglecrest squared off in some playoff action on Saturday, but Valor Christian had to settle for second. They fell just short of the Eaglecrest Raptors by a score of 65-63. The Eagles' loss signaled the end of their 14-game winning streak.

Despite the loss, Valor Christian still got an impressive performance from Cole Scherer, who dropped a double-double with 35 points and ten boards. That was a full 55.6% of Valor Christian's points, marking the third time in a row Scherer has posted more than a third of the team's points. Brady Wynja was another key player, dropping a double-double with 14 points and ten rebounds.

Valor Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 23-5. As for Eaglecrest, the victory (which was their 19th in a row) raised their record to 26-2.

As of now, neither Valor Christian nor Eaglecrest have any future games scheduled.
