Volleyball Game Preview: Kemmerer Rangers vs. Pine Bluffs Hornets

The Kemmerer Rangers will take on the Pine Bluffs Hornets in a tournament on Friday. Kemmerer is coming into the game on a four-game losing streak.

Last Saturday, Kemmerer came up short against Powell and fell 2-0.

The match finished with set scores of 25-15, 25-13.

Meanwhile, Pine Bluffs faced Big Horn in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Thursday. The Hornets lost 3-0 to the Rams. The Hornets have struggled against the Rams recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.

Kemmerer's defeat dropped their record down to 1-8. As for Pine Bluffs, their loss was their first of the season and makes their record 6-1.

Kemmerer couldn't quite get it done against Pine Bluffs when the teams last played back in September of 2024 as they fell 2-0. Can the Rangers avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
