Volleyball Recap: Hayes Comes Up Short

Hayes was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They fell 2-0 to the Chillicothe Cavaliers. The Pacers were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Cavaliers apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in April of 2023.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-17, 25-16.

Hayes' loss dropped their record down to 1-16. As for Chillicothe, their victory was their eighth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 19-2.

Hayes didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-0 defeat against Westerville Central on the 12th. As for Chillicothe, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 2-1 win against Reynoldsburg on the 10th.
