Soccer Game Recap: Midlothian vs. Freeman

Midlothian had to travel to play their first game of the season, but the final result was worth the trip. Their defense stepped up to hand the Freeman Mavericks a 4-0 shutout on Thursday.

Midlothian hit Freeman with a four-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Casey Royle, Will Richter, Aiden Livezey, and Lance Yeboah.

Midlothian will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against L.C. Bird at 7:00 p.m. on March 17th. The matchup will give Midlothian their first taste of in-conferenceaction this season. Freeman will also get a bit of a break before their next contest: they'll face off against Albemarle at 7:30 p.m. on March 19th.
