Softball Recap: Overton Find Success

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Overton). They blew past the Hunters Lane Warriors 11-0 on Tuesday. The Bobcats haven't had any issues with the Warriors recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive win against them.

Jailyn Norman was incredible, scoring two runs and stealing two bases while getting on base in all three of her plate appearances. She also put up a triple, which was her first of the season. Jaylee Hayes was another key player, scoring two runs and stealing two bases while going 1-for-2.

Overton always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .630. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.
