Timber Creek owes their pitching crew a big pat on the back after their performance on Thursday. They came out on top against the Osceola Kowboys by a score of 3-0. The Wolves have beaten the Kowboys the last three times they've met, but they better watch out: this was the closest the Kowboys has come to flipping the script.

Timber Creek got a great performance from Hunter Wieckowski as he didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits while striking out 11 over five innings pitched. Those 11 strikeouts gave Wieckowski a new career-high.

At the plate, Timber Creek saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Johann Mercado, who scored a run while going 2-for-3. Another was Jenuel Velazquez, who scored a run and stole a base while getting on base in two of his three plate appearances.

Timber Creek hit smart and finished the game with only two strikeouts. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Osceola struck out 14 times.

Timber Creek's record is now 3-1. As for Osceola, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-3.

Timber Creek didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 6-3 win against Dr. Phillips on the 21st. Osceola has also already played their next game (against Harmony), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
