The Huckabay Indians will head out on the road to challenge the Bluff Dale Bobcats at 6:00 p.m. Huckabay will be strutting in after a win while Bluff Dale will be coming in after a loss.
In what's become a running theme this season, Huckabay gave their fans yet another huge victory on Friday. They blew past Strawn, posting a 74-32 win at home. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest win Huckabay has posted since November 28, 2023.
Meanwhile, Bluff Dale's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their third straight loss. They were outmatched by Lingleville on the road and fell 51-9. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss Bluff Dale has suffered against Lingleville since February 5, 2021.
Nicole Morris was Bluff Dale's leading scorer, having posted four points.
Erin Clary held things down on the boards with four rebounds.
The victory makes it two in a row for Huckabay and bumps their season record up to 20-9. As for Bluff Dale, they bumped their record down to 6-13 with that loss, which was their third straight on the road.
Everything came up roses for Huckabay against Bluff Dale in their previous meeting back in December of 2023 as the squad secured a 61-20 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for Huckabay since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
