Basketball Recap: Choctawhatchee Takes a Tough Playoff Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Choctawhatchee can now relate to. They fell to the Pine Forest Eagles 61-56. The Indians just can't catch a break and have now endured three defeats in a row.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Pine Forest to victory, but perhaps none more so than Chrisshona Bargaineer, who went 8 of 10 to rack up 20 points. Those 20 points gave Bargaineer a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Laila Snow, who posted 15 points and five assists.

Choctawhatchee's loss dropped their record down to 9-12. As for Pine Forest, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 10-13.

Choctawhatchee does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Pine Forest, they will face off against Booker T. Washington on Saturday. Booker T. Washington will roll in looking for their tenth straight victory, something Pine Forest surely won't give up without a fight.
