Softball Recap: Valley Lutheran Takes a Loss

Valley Lutheran managed to slip by Coleman the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Chargers lost 8-0 to the Comets on Monday. The Chargers were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Comets earlier this season, when they won 7-6.

Valley Lutheran has also been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last seven contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-9 record this season. As for Coleman, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 4-8 record this season.

Valley Lutheran didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, an 11-0 loss against Ithaca on the 2nd. As for Coleman, they have also already played their next contest, an 11-2 defeat against Benzie Central on the 29th.
