Softball Recap: Cannon Comes Up Short

The Cannon Cougars came up short against the South Caldwell Spartans on Tuesday, falling 15-1. The Cougars have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Cannon saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Olivia McLaughlin, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one RBI.

Cannon's defeat dropped their record down to 3-3. As for South Caldwell, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 6-0.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. We've got a battle between Cougars coming up. High Point Christian Academy is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 8.5 runs per game this season. As for South Caldwell, they will host Bandys at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. South Caldwell will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more runs each game than the last.
