Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Clifton-Clyde). They enjoyed a cozy 73-56 win over the Hanover Wildcats on Tuesday. The victory was familiar territory for the Eagles, who have now won seven contests in a row.

Hanover's defeat came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Braylon Meyn, who went 6-for-14 on his way to 19 points and five rebounds. Meyn's morning made it five games in a row in which he has scored at least 19 points. Tanner Bruna was another key player, going 5-for-12 en route to 13 points.

Clifton-Clyde pushed their record up to 11-5-2 with the win, which was their fourth straight at home. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 68.3 points over those games. As for Hanover, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 10-6.

Clifton-Clyde has already played their next game (against Valley Heights), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Hanover, they will host Doniphan West on Friday. Hanover knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past eight matchups -- so hopefully Doniphan West likes a good challenge.
