Basketball Recap: Make It Five in a Row for Wilmington Christian Academy

Wilmington Christian Academy extended their winning streak to five games thanks to a huge performance from Trent Davies. The Wilmington Christian Academy Patriots blew past the Wake Christian Academy Bulldogs 67-45 on Tuesday thanks in part to Davies, who went 9 for 15 on his way to 28 points. He is also on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in the last 15 games he's played.

Another player making a difference was Harrison Skinner, who posted eight points and seven rebounds. The dominant performance gave him a new career-high in boards.

Wake Christian Academy lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Preston Avery, who scored 12 points. Paxton Coon was another key player, putting up 15 points.

Wilmington Christian Academy is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven games, which provided a nice bump to their 10-8 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 66.6 points per game.
