Basketball Recap: Doyle Snaps Four-Game Streak of Wins on the Road

Doyle was the 67-56 winner over Pine when they last played one another back in December of 2023, but their luck changed this time around. The Doyle Tigers took a 54-50 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Pine Raiders.

Doyle's defeat ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 22-11. As for Pine, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight contests, which provided a nice bump to their 11-6 record this season.

Doyle and Pine should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps Louisiana Rankings. Doyle (ranked 90th) will meet Amite (ranked 325th) at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Similarly, Pine will challenge Bogalusa at 7:00 p.m. on Friday up 174 places (153 vs. 327).
