Baseball Recap: Hendersonville Takes a Loss

After soaring to 12 runs the game before, Hendersonville was a bit more limited in their match on Tuesday. They came up short against the Brevard Blue Devils, falling 12-2. The defeat continues a trend for the Bearcats in their meetings with the Blue Devils: they've now lost three in a row.

Martiste Mills made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-3 with one triple, one run, and one double. That triple marked the first that he hit this season.

Hendersonville's loss dropped their record down to 4-7. As for Brevard, with the win, they broke their five-game losing streak and moved their record to 7-5.

Looking ahead, Hendersonville will head out to face off against Smoky Mountain at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Brevard, they will be playing in front of their home fans against West Henderson at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
