Clayton Valley Charter and College Park are an even 5-5 against one another since April of 2019, but likely not for long. College Park will challenge a team with plenty of momentum: Clayton Valley Charter extended their winning streak to three on Thursday. The Ugly Eagles never let Alhambra get on the board and left with a 6-0 win.
The result came thanks to Camdyn Alton's shutout, as she gave up just two hits and racked up 13 Ks. She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't given up more than one earned run in four consecutive appearances.
At the plate, Clayton Valley Charter let Anja Perreira and Victoria Collins run wild. Perreira went 2-for-4 with two runs and one double, while Collins went 2-for-3 with one run, one double, and one RBI. That double marked the first that Perreira has hit this season.
Meanwhile, College Park made easy work of Northgate on Thursday and carried off a 9-3 victory. The win continues a trend for the Falcons in their matchups with the Broncos: they've now won seven in a row.
Alexis Weiler was incredible, going 2-for-4 with two stolen bases, two runs, and one triple. What's more, she posted two RBI, the most she's had since back in March. The team also got some help courtesy of Maya Davis, who went 2-for-4 with two RBI and one run.

Clayton Valley Charter pushed their record up to 8-5-1 with the victory, which was their fifth straight on the road. Those road wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.2 runs over those games. As for College Park, their victory bumped their record up to 6-7-1.
Clayton Valley Charter came out on top in a nail-biter against College Park in their previous meeting back in May of 2024, sneaking past 4-3. Do the Ugly Eagles have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Falcons turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
