Baseball Recap: Prairie du Chien Comes Up Short

For some reason, the away team has come away with the win the last four times Prairie du Chien and Platteville have met, but the home crowd finally got their W on Tuesday. The Blackhawks lost 11-5 to the Hillmen. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Hillmen this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 12-3 back in April.

Prairie du Chien saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Bryce Lenzendorf, who went 2-for-4 with one stolen base, one run, and one double. Westin Marx also deserves some recognition as he brought in his first RBI of the season.

Prairie du Chien's loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 5-7. As for Platteville, they pushed their record up to 9-4 with the win, which was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season.
