Volleyball Game Preview: Ilwaco Fishermen vs. Raymond/South Bend Ravens + How To Watch

Ilwaco is 0-4 against Raymond/South Bend since September of 2023 but things could change on Thursday. The Fishermen will venture away from home to challenge the Ravens at 7:00 p.m. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this match.

On Tuesday, Ilwaco came up short against Forks and fell 3-1.

Meanwhile, Raymond/South Bend also suffered a loss in their last game, falling to Morton/White Pass by a score of 3-1. While the Ravens didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Timberwolves 25-18 in the first set.

Raymond/South Bend started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. The match finished with set scores of 18-25, 25-22, 25-21, 25-22.

Ilwaco's defeat dropped their record down to 2-5. As for Raymond/South Bend, their loss dropped their record down to 6-3.

Ilwaco might still be hurting after the 3-0 defeat they got from Raymond/South Bend in their previous meeting back in October of 2024. Can the Fishermen avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
