Parra came up big in Prescott's 13-2 win
RJ Parra was dynamite on Tuesday, striking out seven batters over six innings while giving up just two earned runs off five hits. As if that's not impressive enough, the pitching appearance was her seventh in a row with more than five strikeouts. For the year, Parra has an ERA of 2.27 over 75.3 innings pitched.
Parra's strong effort led Prescott over Mohave and she'll get a chance to do so again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. Prescott is 8-1 against Mohave going back to April of 2019, a lead they'll look to extend.
