Baseball Recap: Parsippany Continues Home Dominance on Wednesday

Parsippany put another one in the bag on Wednesday to keep their perfect season alive. They came within a single run of losing the streak, but they secured a 7-6 W against the Morris County Tech Devils.

Kevin Regan Jr made a big impact no matter where he played. On the mound, he pitched three innings while giving up just one earned run off two hits. Regan Jr was also stellar in the batter's box, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 2-for-2.

Regan Jr wasn't the only one making solid contact as six players wound up with at least one hit. One of them was Bryan Sunga, who scored a run and stole two bases while going 3-for-3. Another was Matthew Parker, who scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-4.

Parsippany's victory was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 3-0. Those home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.6 runs on average over those games. As for Morris County Tech, they are on a five-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-4.

Looking ahead, Parsippany is taking a road trip to take on Butler at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Morris County Tech, they will welcome Whippany Park at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
