Volleyball Recap: Verndale Turns Things Around After Road Loss

There's no place like home for Verndale, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Tuesday. They won by a set and slipped past the Roseau Rams 2-1. For the Pirates, this counts as revenge for the 2-0 victory the Rams walked away with the last time they faced one another back in October of 2024.

Verndale's record is now 7-11. As for Roseau, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 21-5.

Verndale has already played their next match, a 2-0 victory against New York Mills on the 16th. As for Roseau, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-0 loss against Wheaton/Herman-Norcross on the 16th.
