Basketball Recap: Rose Leadership Academy Takes a Loss

Rose Leadership Academy lost against Old Redford Academy back in January, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. Rose Leadership Academy were dealt a 67-40 defeat at the hands of the Old Redford Academy Ravens. While losing is never fun, Rose Leadership Academy can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Michigan basketball rankings (they are ranked 347th in Michigan, while Old Redford Academy is ranked 37th in Michigan).

Rose Leadership Academy has also been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 10-13 record this season. Old Redford Academy has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won ten of their last 11 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 17-3 record this season.

Rose Leadership Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Old Redford Academy, they will face off against Redford Union at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Old Redford Academy knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past 11 contests -- so hopefully Redford Union likes a good challenge.
