Basketball Recap: Oak Hill Has No Trouble Against Bridgeport

On Saturday, the Oak Hill Red Devils strolled past the Bridgeport Indians with points to spare, taking the game 59-44. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Red Devils.

Several Indians players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Kloey Martinez, who almost dropped a double-double on ten points and nine boards. Audrey Kerr was another key player, putting up nine points.

Oak Hill's win bumped their record up to 6-8. As for Bridgeport, they have also traveled a rocky road recently having lost ten of their last 11 matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-11 record this season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Oak Hill will square off against Point Pleasant at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Bridgeport, they will take on Grafton at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Grafton has 14 straight victories, Bridgeport has five straight losses), but none of that matters once you're on the court.
