Basketball Game Preview: Eisenhower Tigers vs. Andover Central Jaguars

Eisenhower hasn't had much luck against Andover Central recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. A feisty cat fight will be fought as the Tigers face off against the Jaguars at 6:00 p.m. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

On Friday, Eisenhower had to suffer through a 73-38 loss at the hands of Andover. While losing is never fun, the Tigers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Kansas basketball rankings (they are ranked 197th, while the Trojans are ranked eighth).

Meanwhile, Andover Central lost 52-32 to Arkansas City on Friday.

Andover Central's defeat dropped their record down to 11-7. As for Eisenhower, their loss dropped their record down to 6-11.

Eisenhower lost to Andover Central on the road by a decisive 56-42 margin when the teams last played back in December of 2024. Can Eisenhower avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
