Soccer Game Preview: Seffner Christian vs. Out-of-Door Academy

The Seffner Christian Crusaders will take on the Out-of-Door Academy Thunder in a holiday battle at at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Both come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Seffner Christian's defense heads into the contest hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Tuesday. They skirted past Northside Christian 1-0. The Crusaders' winning goal came courtesy of Bryce Koenck.

Meanwhile, Out-of-Door Academy entered their tilt with Bradenton Christian on Thursday with three consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with four. They came out on top against the Panthers by a score of 3-1. Given the Thunder's advantage in MaxPreps' Florida soccer rankings (they are ranked 211th, while the Panthers are ranked 556th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Out-of-Door Academy is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven games, which provided a nice bump to their 7-1-2 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 29 goals over those seven matches. As for Seffner Christian, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-6-1.
