Soccer Recap: Charleston Collegiate Takes a Loss

Charleston Collegiate was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They took a 7-5 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Cross Stingrays. Even if Charleston Collegiate couldn't come away with the win, the high-scoring effort was a great turnaround for their offense, which had struggled int the games prior.

They hit Cross with a four-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Evie Baslow (2), Izzy Demosthenes, Abigail Skinner, and Addie Olson.

Charleston Collegiate's loss dropped their record down to 1-10. As for Cross, they have started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Charleston Collegiate didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next game, a 10-0 victory against Charleston Math & Science on the 1st. Cross does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
