Soccer Recap: Adamson Gets the Win

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against North Mesquite, Adamson was happy to have turned things around on Friday. Their defense stepped up to hand the Seagoville Dragons a 1-0 shutout. The score was all tied up 0-0 at the break, but the Leopards were the better team in the second half.

Adamson's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-2. As for Seagoville, their defeat was their first of the season and makes their record 1-1-2.

Adamson will face off against Sunset at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Adamson's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for three straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end. As for Seagoville, they will square off against North Mesquite at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Seagoville's last four contests have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
