Football Recap: ED White Takes a Loss

ED White fell victim to Bradford and their airtight defense on Wednesday. They took a blow against the Tornadoes, falling 28-0.

Kyra Jackson threw for 87 yards on 11 of 19 attempts. Amera Bossard was her top target, picking up 57 receiving yards. On the ground, Zykeria Luellen rushed for 54 yards on only five carries.

Arnayshia Griffin continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines for Bradford, throwing for 155 yards and three touchdowns, while also rushing for 75 yards on only ten carries. That's the most rushing yards Griffin has posted since back in February.

ED White's defeat dropped their record down to 10-5. As for Bradford, their win was their seventh straight at home, which pushed their record up to 10-2.

ED White and Bradford should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps Florida Rankings. The Commanders will square off against Menendez at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday with a big rank advantage (87 vs. 252). The two teams have allowed few points on average (ED White 8.5, the Falcons 12.4) so any points scored will be well earned. Meanwhile, Bradford (ranked 46th) will meet Newberry (ranked 206th) at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
