Softball Game Preview: Auburn Riverside Ravens vs. Muckleshoot Tribal Kings

The Auburn Riverside Ravens will face off against the Muckleshoot Tribal Kings at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this contest.

Auburn Riverside is coming in off a wild two-game stretch: after soaring to 20 runs on Tuesday, they were much more limited against Kentridge on Thursday. They fell just short of the Chargers by a score of 3-1. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest loss the Ravens have suffered since May 18, 2024.

Auburn Riverside got a good showing from Kylee Curtis, who tossed three innings while giving up just one earned run off two hits. Curtis has been consistent for a while: she hasn't given up more than two walks in 12 consecutive appearances.

At the plate, Sloan Cross made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-3 with one triple and one RBI. That triple marked the first that she has hit this season.

Meanwhile, Muckleshoot Tribal came up short against Quilcene on Wednesday and fell 9-6.

Auburn Riverside's defeat dropped their record down to 8-5. As for Muckleshoot Tribal, they now have a losing record of 2-3.
