Volleyball Recap: Carterville Lions vs. Nashville Hornets
Carterville was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Nashville Hornets. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Lions of the 2-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in October of 2023.
The match finished with set scores of 25-12, 25-18.
Carterville's defeat dropped their record down to 14-19-1. As for Nashville, the win (which was their 17th in a row) raised their record to 32-3.
