Volleyball Recap: Delta Comes Up Short

Delta lost against Archbold back in October of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Panthers lost 3-0 to the Blue Streaks. The Panthers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

The match finished with set scores of 25-9, 25-16, 25-9.

Willa Rosene paced Delta's offense, picking up five kills. Rosene got some help from Ellie Martinez and her 11 assists. Martinez was also solid from the service line: she led the team with two aces.

Delta's loss dropped their record down to 4-17. As for Archbold, their victory ended a three-match drought at home and bumped them up to 14-6.

Delta wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 3-0 defeat against Ottawa Hills on the 9th. As for Archbold, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-2 loss against Crestview on the 9th.
