After only one run in their last game, Sotomayor made sure to put some runs up on the board against Harlan on Saturday. The WILDCATS sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 10-9 win over the Hawks. Considering the WILDCATS' hitters had been struggling lately, the high-scoring outing was a much-needed turnaround.

Sotomayor got a massive performance out of Jace Cano, who went a perfect 4-for-4 with two doubles, one run, and one RBI. That's the most doubles Cano has posted since back in March. The team also got some help courtesy of Isaac Staten, who went 2-for-4 with three RBI, one run, and one double.

Sotomayor is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 18-7-1 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 6.3 runs over those games. As for Harlan, their defeat dropped their record down to 15-14.
