Meanwhile, Friday just wasn't the day for Willow Spring's offense. They fell just short of Apex by a score of 1-0 on Friday. The Storm haven't had much luck with the Cougars recently, as the team's come up short the last three times they've met.
The win got Southeast Raleigh back to even at 4-4-1. As for Willow Spring, their loss dropped their record down to 5-9-1.
