Baseball Recap: Sunlake Comes Up Short

Friday just wasn't the day for Sunlake's offense. They lost 7-0 to the Hernando Leopards on Friday. The Seahawks haven't had much luck with the Leopards recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

Sunlake got a good showing from Caleb Taylor, who pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits.

Sunlake's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Hernando, they have started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Coming up, Sunlake will challenge Northeast at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Hernando, they will take on Central at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
