Padua Franciscan extended their winning streak to 13 on Wednesday, bumping them up to 14-5. Everything went their way against the Independence Blue Devils as they made off with a 3-0 victory. For the Bruins, this counts as revenge for the 3-2 win the Blue Devils walked away with the last time they faced one another back in October of 2023.

Among those leading the charge was Cathryn Ruggiero, who had 11 digs. That's the most digs she has posted over her last eight matchups.

As for Independence, their loss dropped their record down to 14-5. Blue Devils fans who chose to attend the game sure picked the wrong one: it was the first time the team has lost against Padua Franciscan since Wednesday.
