Volleyball Recap: Huntington Takes a Loss

Huntington was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss dating back to last season. They were a single set away from ending the streak, but they lost a 1-0 heartbreaker at the hands of Mount Olive Christian. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against Mount Olive Christian this season, with their most recent defeat being a 1-0 loss on Saturday.

Huntington's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Mount Olive Christian, the win keeps them at an undefeated 8-0.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Huntington will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Southwood at 5:30 p.m. on September 18. As for Mount Olive Christian, they will head out to face off against Northeast Baptist at 6:00 p.m. on the 11th.
