Basketball Recap: Islesboro Central Takes a Loss

Islesboro Central lost against Pine Tree Academy back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Islesboro Central Eagles lost 63-37 to the Pine Tree Academy Breakers.

Islesboro Central has traveled a rocky road recently having lost five of their last six matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-10 record this season. As for Pine Tree Academy, the win snapped their losing streak at four games and leaves them with a 12-9 record.

When Islesboro Central and Pine Tree Academy next hit the court, they'll be up against teams who recently just can't seem to lose. Islesboro Central will try to stop Valley's 15-game winning streak when the meet at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. Similarly, Pine Tree Academy will take on Wiscasset and their four-game winning streak at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
